DPDP Compliance
Rise Corp India is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of digital personal data. This page explains how we uphold your rights under this law, even though we do not collect or store personal data through user registration or databases.
Scope and Applicability
The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Rise Corp India does not maintain user accounts, collect personal information through forms, or store identifiable data in databases, we may inadvertently collect limited, non-identifiable data through standard website analytics and server logs (e.g., IP addresses, browser type, pages visited). This data is used solely for site functionality and performance monitoring and is not linked to any individual.
Your Rights Under DPDP
Under the DPDP, you have the following rights, which apply even to minimal data collected:
- Right to access your digital personal data, if processed
- Right to correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure of your data, where applicable
- Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
Please note: Since we do not actively collect or process personal data for any purpose beyond basic analytics, these rights are largely theoretical in our context. However, we honor all requests made in good faith.
How We Comply
Rise Corp India complies with the DPDP by:
- Not collecting personal data via registration, forms, or cookies used for tracking
- Using only anonymous, aggregated analytics tools (e.g., server logs that do not identify individuals)
- Ensuring all third-party services we use (e.g., hosting providers) adhere to DPDP principles
- Not transferring personal data outside India unless legally permitted and with adequate safeguards
Data We Process
We process no personal data as defined under DPDP. Any data collected automatically includes:
- Non-identifiable IP addresses (anonymized)
- Browser type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on site
This data is not associated with any individual and is deleted after 30 days.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our limited processing is based on legitimate interest in maintaining website functionality, security, and performance. We do not rely on consent for this minimal processing, as it is not personal data under DPDP’s definition.
How to Exercise Your Rights
If you believe any personal data about you has been processed, or wish to exercise your rights under DPDP, please contact us directly at [email protected]. Include your full name and a description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.
Response Timeframes
Under DPDP, we are required to respond to data subject requests within 30 days. We aim to respond within 15 business days. If additional time is needed, we will notify you with a reason for the delay.
No Discrimination Policy
Rise Corp India does not and will not discriminate against any individual for exercising their rights under the DPDP. You may request access, correction, or deletion without fear of reduced service, higher pricing, or any other penalty.
Updates and Changes
We will update this page if our data practices change or if the DPDP is amended. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
